abdelhamid nabah
Born on November 28th, 1981 in Kolea, Algeria. In late of 1995, he started practicing martial arts in the Nihon Taijitsu – Jujitsu School of Self-Defense in his home town Ain Defla, Algeria, under the supervision of his coach Moussa Chaib and expert Benguesmia Ahmed, Abdelhamid was selected for the national team by expert Imarirane Amar, expert Aouizrat Slami and expert Imarirane Abdelkader. On March 2000, under the supervision of international experts Roland Hernayez and Imarirane Amar of the National Sports Institute of Algiers, he held his first Dan black belt of Nihon Taijitsu – Jujitsu. Then won the third dan black belt on 2006 and the fourth Dan of Nihon Taijitsu – Jujitsu on 2011. Later on 2004, Abdelhamid NABAH won the Algerian national Nihon Taijitsu – Jujitsu championship (specializing in Self-Defense) in Blida. In 2005, Abdelhamid graduated from Ain El-Benyan’s High School of Sports Science and Technology in Algeria after three years of training to obtain the certificate of physical activities and physical education. Between 2004 to 2006, he was president of Ain Defla State martial arts league. He won the bronze medal in the International TaiJitsu competition held in Casablanca, Morocco on June 2007. Posteriorly Abdelhamid NABAH participated in the African Sambo Championship and won the bronze medal in Morocco on June 14, 2008. To come after it another achievement added to his career when he won the second place in the International TaiJitsu Grand Prix held in Morocco on June 24, 2008. And in November 2008, he participated in the Russian World Sambo Championship. He began a new journey when was hired as a physical education trainer on January 2008, and held various positions, including a five-year youth and sports department general gymnasium director. On March 2010, he rose to a higher level when he was appointed the official representative of the African and International Jujitsu Federation where he was appointed to establish and develop Jujitsu in Algeria. After that, he participated in many international competitions as a coach for the Algerian national team of jujitsu. His most prominent results were in the World Combat Games that were held in Beijing in China in August 2010, where the fighter Ali Ismail won the historic silver medal.
The successful days continued through a series of achievements, started in:
- January 2012, he won the third Dan black belt of the Japanese Jujitsu System (JJIF) during the Bansko International Winter Camp in Bulgaria, under the supervision of the International Jujitsu Federation.He founded the National Jiu-Jitsu Association in Algeria on February 2012 where he was appointed as the National Technical Director later in August 2012.
- He moved to work in Qatar training at the Police Training Institute from 2013 to 2018.
- In August 2014, he obtained the Continental Referee Certificate from the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation in the African Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Tunisia.
- He directed and trained many basic and advanced courses for police and personnel, and made many suggestions for the development of self-defense and police technical training programs, such as the proposal of the Police Self-Defense Championship. He won first place in the second edition of this competition with his team representing Qatar Police Training Institute in January 2018.
- We also recall that he prepared an advanced courses of Self-Defense and Police Technics for the Fazaa police Department in 2018.
- In 2019, under the supervision of experts Fabricio Moreira, Erivaldo Jr. and Leonardo Rodriguez, Abdelhamid NABAH was awarded the Blue Belt for Brazilian Jiujitsu.
- He prepared and supervised a special course program for the Police Research and Follow-up Department under the supervision of Qatar Police Training Institute.
- He Participated in various international training courses in Europe, Africa and Arab countries, including self-defense, police techniques and practicing different martial arts such as Jujitsu, Taijitsu, Sambo, Kale, Aikido, Brazilian Jujitsu and Judo.
- In December 2014, he participated in the training course for judo coaches under the supervision of the International Federation and the International Olympic Committee.
- Also mention that he was appointed as self-defense instructor at the Qatar National Service Academy for the Ministry of Defense from 2018 to the present day where managed many basic self-defense courses.
- For 6 weeks, he supervised an advanced self-defense course for a group of the Iraqi army in conjunction with the trainer Ali Smail.
- He was in charge on program of arrest and detention methods for Fazaa Police, in partnership with instructor Ali Smail at the National Service Academy base in June 2021.
- In August 2021, he was certified as an International Instructor of Reality based Self-protection under the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation (JJIF) in Germany.
- He received the 4th Dan diploma of Police Self-Defense system from the Bulgarian Police Federation in July 2021.
- He was part of many self-defense demonstrations and graduation ceremonies in the army and police since 2013 to the present day.
